Whenever there is a need, God always finds someone who has a giving heart like the Philippians. We find Paul, in Philippians 4:10—19, rejoicing in the Lord “greatly” because the church of Philippi had once again given to the needs of the ministry. Paul recognized that it was in their heart to give all along, yet they had lacked the opportunity to do so. Paul wasn’t rejoicing in the gifts he had received from them, as much as in the fact that they had given. “You have done well,” he said, as he encouraged them in the communion they had together. Paul lets them know that it was not the gift that he desired, but rather the fruit that would be credited to their spiritual account. He assured them that the things he received from them were a sweet smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God.
Richard Hanson Ministries has entered a new season of growth and expansion. With the increase of our national and international outreach, God has spoken to our hearts the importance of having a solid base to build upon. This base will enable us to be more effective in our outreach in the U.S and other third world countries.
One of the most pressing needs we have right now as a ministry is getting our office and media up in running effectively and efficiently. Here are several things we need to get our ministry to the next level: a multi-disk CD burner, recording equipment, sound equipment, high quality video camera, and digital camera. In addition, a Mac computer and a Mac laptop (for the road) with graphics, video & sound editing software. This will enable us to do our own in house graphics to create resources such as CD’s, brochures, and banners, as well as create videos & DVD’s for T.V. and the internet. We would also like to hire more employee's to help us keep the office running smoothly while we are on the road.
